and you find out it was because he thought you two were messing about behind his back do you try to get them back together by telling him the truth or do you let it happen and be there for her?

Nothing has ever happened between us and while i like her a lot. nothing ever will

I only know him through her so my only loyalty lies with her. I haven't expressed any feelings against him and i would be happiest if she was happy whoever that was with clice'd but true

a love triangle, not good. be there for both of them tell the truth if nothing happened then say it but don't ge inbetween them as it will cause more up roar and you will be blamed for it and you will lose two mates over it. get all three of you together and you say your part and then leave it to them to sort out, you don't want to be blamed for something you haven't done. it hurts and it has happened to me and i lost my only truest friend out of it, now i can't stand the back stabbing c*w. hope i have helped good luck i wish you all the best x

If it wasn't that bad and I know what happen then I would do something or tell her to talk to him to see if she can solve it, if she really likes him. If she wants to, I would tell him "you need to talk to her and explain everything or let her explain."

If they don't want to work anything then just leave it alone.
