It seems weird to me that pro choicers don't see abortion as murder and are ok with killing and getting rid of the unborn. Many arguments are that the child would not be able to live on his own, he is dependant on the mother so the abortion is justifiable. At the same time these pro choicers would look down upon someone who would be trying to pull the plug on someone who can only survive with machines to give aid. Same argument as abortion, they would not be able to live on their own with out the machines. What's the deal?

Like most prochoicers I know, I am in favour of euthanasia, but only if the person you're applying it to, said while he was healthy, that he wanted to be euthanised if he ever came to the situation you're describing. I, for one, would rather be euthanised than be a burden to my family, if there's no chance of getting better.

And as for abortion, I would not be so sure what you're "killing" is a human being yet.

When it is a kill or be killed situation. as in a robbery, attempted murder, kidnapping rape etc... anytime you feel youre life is in danger of ending at the hands of someone else.
It is a BASIC animal instinct, THE MOST BASIC actually, to stay alive! We will do this at all costs, and if you feel as if you are about to lose your life,it is ok to save ur own life by taking that of your aggressor.

Well, you haven't spoken to *me*.

There are several conditions under which it is acceptable to take a life. You have already mentioned two.

Situations in which you must kill to defend yourself are also acceptable.

I'd like to add that I strongly support the death penalty.

I'm politically a Conservative. Hope my views don't surprise you too much.

The length of our life is determined. We are only responsible for its breadth and depth.
