I haven't been to a doctor yet, but last week I took a prego test which was positive. I used an online EDD calculator (estimated due date) in which you insert your last period date blah blah blah. It came out to be March 22nd. Well, last month My period came about a week earlier than regular...i have heard that an irregular period before the month you miss your period could mean that your last period was implantation bleeding or just an extra period...does that make sense? So i am wondering if i could possibly be 2 months instead of 1. HELP! thanks

You can always be farther along than you think, even when the doctor gives you a date, it could be wrong.

You could have had your period for months after you conceived. You just never know. Despite what medicine tries to convince us, pregnancy is no science! (Well, maybe a little...)

Congrats!

It's possible. One woman I know thought she was due in October, but wasn't sure when she got pregnant. They did an ultrasound and found out she was 3 months pregnant! We all envied her a little for "skipping" her first trimester while we were all dealing with morning sickness and fears of miscarriage. lol If you're really that unsure, the doctor will do an ultrasound, or have one scheduled. They can measure the baby and tell you then.

There can be a chance of you being further along than you think.I missed one period with my son. I went to the doctor the following week, I found out that I was 8 weeks. An ultasound can help determine how far you are.

Yes, I had the same thing happen with both of my pregnancies.

The only sure determination is an ultrasound and you have to be further along to have a more accurate idea.... they waited until I was approximately 3 months before performing the ultrasound on me.

I was further than I thought with my daughter and right on with my son.

Always seek professional advice.

Congrats & Good Luck!

The whole period thing confuses me but you have to be a month or two months pregnant from what your saying.

Why exactly have you not seen a doctor? You should always go see a doctor ASAP because thier is always a chance of a tubal baby which can kill you.

yes its possible that you're farther along than you think. you can have your period for months after you've become pregnant. my mother had hers until she was 7 months pregnant with me and i'm pregnant and still having my period. you should go to the doctor and have an ultrasound to see how far along you are!
