You could always try intelligent argument instead of abuse. It's possible that Liberals find Conservatives "irrational and arrogantly misinformed". Democracy would be a lot healthier if opposing Parties took some time off from gratuitous abuse.

I don't know how to get through to some of these people, especially the many grossly uninformed ones who blabber on this chat-site (but I think most of them are children).
General "Chesty" Puller, a revered "old time" U.S. Marine with a lot of experience involving trains of pack mules, maintained that you had to treat the mules kindly.

Ignore them for the most part.
They live in a dream world where everything is sweet and nice, a true UTOPIA .
Trouble is they want to drag the rest of us , kicking and screaming , into their dream world .
Facing the hard facts of life has never been a Liberal strongpoint.

You can't deal with blind hatred. Just like a terrorist, there is no talking to them. The only thing we can do is continue to beat them in elections. Maybe someday they'll wake up to reality, and learn to appreciate America. Until then, they'll just be miserable, and try to make the rest of us miserable.
Look on the bright side, we believe in the right to life, and morals. So eventually, between abortion, crime, and STDs they'll kill themselves off and we'll always outnumber them.

well the problem with liberals is that they think that we are all bible thumping government loving rich americans. We have to push the media out of they way, because they typecast everyone. convince liberals that all conservatives are not like Bush
