Most of what we call "working cowboys" are in west or southwest Texas , there are a few in northeast but not many , and by "working cowboys" i mean they actually work ranches for a living , tend cattle or horses , there are lots of drugstore cowboys as well that live in the cities and put on a pair of boots and think they are real cowboys , and then there are the country boys who usually just dress the part when they go out , but its just part of the culture down here

Do they wear cowboy shirts, Levis, leather belts with their name on them, cowboy hat, boots with a 1 1/2 inch heel?
Those aren't cowboys, honey, they are truck drivers!!
Cowboys wear tennis shoes so you can tell they are not truck drivers!
