i used to have the same problem unfortunatly. What i did is close my eye and pull it to the side. pull until the eyelid lays flat. Wow thats confusing ok ummm example...

for putting eyeliner on the right eye pull the right of the eye (side far from nose) towards your right ear. You eyelid should be flat. Apply the eyeliner and do the other eye

Works for me and sorry its so confusing

Well, natural oils in your skin can make eyeliner run or not stick well, even if you use waterproof eyeliner. If I were you, I'd find a black or dark gray water resistant (but not waterproof) eyeliner, and before applying, apply some oil-removing astringent (I like Clean and clear astringent for sensitive skin) to the area around your eyes with a Q-tip, then pat dry with a towel, then apply the eyeliner, and it will stay on all day! And hold your eyes open when you apply the eyeliner, the wider your eyes are, the easier it is to get the eyeliner in the right spot.

Soft black eyeliner would be better with your blonde hair than plain black, it will keep your look soft.
The best way to put it on is to start on the outside of eye and dot the liner don't try to draw a line. If you make small little strokes it goes on a lot better. You don't need to go all the way across eitiher, sometimes just a "V" is enough, a little on the top and a little on the bottom. If you work with your shadow the eyeliner will be enough that way. Good luck

* Eyeliner Application *

Different Eyeliner Applications

Close-Set Eyes:
Line outer third of upper lids with gray,brown, or black liner. Smudge gently. Use a lighter liner on the inner eye to widen the space between eyes.

Small Eyes:
Draw a dark line gradually thickening at outer edge of the eye. Use a light-colored pencil (gold, silver, white) and draw under lower lash.

Deep-Set Eyes:
Line upper lash line with pale, shimmery liner. Then line outer edge of lower lash with a soft, neutral shade (gray or taupe). This will create the illusion of a less heavy lid.

Drooping Eyes:
Line outer third of eye very close to lashes, carefully sweeping the liner up at the corner of the eye.

* Using Eyeliner

When first applying eyeliner (liquid or not), it is best to dust a loose powder over your eyes to help the liner stick. When putting it on, rest your elbow on a hard surface to help steady your hand. From there apply the liner from the middle of the eye to the edge in both directions. *Try to keep as close to your lashes as possible*. If your liner should smudge in the process it is best to use a damp cloth to clean off the mistake then to try and draw over it.

just look in a mirror. don't pull your eyelid. that will result in wrinkles when you are older. i would use a slanted brush and some eyeliner powder (you can get it at a MAC counter at Macy's) Put the eyeliner slanted brush into the powder, tap off the excess stuff, and Pat the brush onto the top and bottom of your eye. great results (almost) every time!

If your picture next to the question is you and your blonde, I wouldn't wear black liner. Gray, brown or bronze brown would be a softer choice. Next if you are having a hard time doing it, then get it on a close as possible and then blend it out with a Q tip. This takes a bad application and turns it into a sexy smokey look. Have fun!

Use a liquid eyeliner and wipe the excess off with a tissue before applying to the eye.

Use a good liner brush I have found using a wet brush in a black powder gets the best results also always follow right in the lash line for a more natural line instead of creating you own hope this helps

Close your eye like winking and line the top close tot he lash line and then on the bottom go right next to the eye or right where your lashes start, if that makes sense and make it light or a little heavier so it ends on the lash
