Could it ever be possible to say the worst thing at the right moment ?

There is never a right moment for a confrontation. It would be playing the other person's game and if you played someones else's game, why would you say anything bad ?

It's something we are taught. Never confront anyone when there is a possibility of retaliation. Keep the odds in your favor, always.

Maybe, its best all around if we just practiced a little kindness and understanding and not say anything derogatory at any moment.

I agree.... I always manage to have terrible timing and say something terrible that wouldn't be bad at all if I just hadn't said it at a time when she was dealing with something difficult. I'd like to know why too.

I guess it's because, as guys, we don't get emotionally worked up about issues the same way a girl does, and when it's time to deal with something, it doesn't make it hard to deal with other things. So in our brains, it doesn't matter WHEN something get's said. But the problem is, it usually comes out sounding alot worse, because when the girl is dealing with something, we usually expect her to have a short fuse, so we put up a defense, possibly even go on the offensive.

It usually just happens because we are wired differently. As soon as we both understand that, and the girl works towards not taking things so seriously, while the guy works towards being a little more sensitive to her feelings, then guys and girls will get along much easier...

Too bad that'll never happen...hahaha

The reason is because we might have heard something about the ladies and we are jealous because some to them don't treat men right. furthermore we might not have know details about a situation. That why we only thinks from first person point of view. Most men don't investigate.

I don't, I try to be careful to say the right things at the right time. When there are bad moments, I don't say anything offensive, derogatory, or negative.

Because we are to the point.We don't dance around a subject or simply hint at things we want.Those qualities are traits of women.You just have to accept us as we are and love us anyway.(I'm sure whatever he said,was not meant to hurt you)

I have found it really doesn't matter WHAT we say to women or how we say it . . . we can 'say no right.' Try as we might, it is impossible to know what the 'right' thing to say is. Women are too unpredictable; probably why we love them so much.

We are definitely good at that. Social blunders and tactless acts...hmm, sounds like a faux pas to me!
