Of course. Anyone who wouldnt wait for the person they love; doesnt really love them at all.

True love is a really special thing (the Hindu definition of "soul mate" comes to mind). However time is a factor within a given lifetime.
As romantic as it sounds to "wait forever" the general difficulties of meeting other people over time and possibly falling in love with someone else is a factor to consider.
Love is a fantastic and unfathomable thing and I know what a "soul mate" is now. I just wonder if everyone would wait long enough to find out. Maybe the two of you might meet in another lifetime. Who knows?

If I was in love with someone right now and they are unavailable I will wait for them because I love them and them wants them to be heart. Being is love is very great but a true love don't looks for its ownerships. Right now I am in love with a girl but I just can't have her now, I will wait until the day I have the opportunity to say it to her.

Ive been waiting a year and a half for my fiance (who does A LOT of business travel) to come back home and stay here long enough for us to get married. In a way, it seems like forever, so yes! :)

The thought of losing out on life waiting for one person makes me sick. I am married, but sorry to say if she was in a COma for a year and the doc said that she had a .001% chanch of waking up, I hate to say that I would not waste my life waiting around. You get one shot at life and true love is nice, but not nice enough to waste my life on.

No.
What if they are not in love with you? Then you could be missing out on someone else, who you would not give a chance to, that may actually be the one for you.
Are you waiting because they are with someone else? because they are away? because they don't have the same desire to be with you?

Kinda depends, on circumstances. If it's a situation where they haven't decided to be committed or even interested, I would say no. People change and a person may be right for you now and your not right for them, but if you eventually change into the person that is right for them they may no longer be right for you. Know what I mean.

Absence does not always make the heart grow fonder. I would wait for my true love, but forever....... hmmmmm?
I guess it would depend on where he's gone and why he is gone away. I just don't know. Good question.
