actually i had the same problem with my grey rabbit when he was about 2 years old, turns out he was spending to much time in direct sunlight and the sun started bleaching his hair after he shed off his summer coat it came back grey again, dont worry about it he'll be just fine but if he is in the sun move him to a more shady spot immediately as rabbits are prone to heat stroke

I think that it's just a phase that they go through. I have a four year old new zealand male who was pure white when my cousin gave him to us and now he is getting gray along the tips of his ears and nose kind of like a siamese cat. We had another white one that was given to us who was thirteen years old, she did the same thing. Wild bunnies coats change with the seasons, it could be some residual effect that remains in them even after all the years of domestication. My rabbits also tend to go through a molt at the beginning of summer.

Thats fine, one of mine started getting brown patches.

My current rabbit has brown tips on his ears. They can change color, like we go grey they go brown ;)

His coat is probably sunburned...it's just bleached out. This can happen if he's in the sun (he shouldn't be!!) or even outdoors in the heat. Wait for him to shed & it'll be gone. You don't need a vet for this ;)

Sounds like he's turning into a bear. Has he started eating salmon recently, and have lots of Americans tried to shoot him?

My black male rabbit used to do that too...think its just them shedding fur. Nothing to worry about.
