I rang in sick once years ago, saying that i had got cat flu! i got some dirty looks off my boss the next day!
Tell 'em you've got a migraine, and you've been up all night being sick because of it, i used to do that most of the time, hot weather etc, makes your head worse anyway if you do suffer with migraines, and the boss can't actually SEE the migraine can he?

i am in bangkok.
90 out of 100 days are sunny, very sunny here.
One a rainy day, I would like to stay in bed - I simply call and say that my house if flooded - very flooded and I need a boat....

At the moment I wouldn't as its too hot outside and the office has A/C, however moving to non A/C office soon!

many many years ago, when i was quite young..., i pretended to fall down a flight of stairs so i'd get sent home to enjoy the sunny day. Still feel guilty.................... well perhaps i dont!!
