I hate Quentin Tarantino films, but not because they are stupid and artsy. I hate them because they are complete rip-offs. He steals liberally from Hong Kong cinema (by liberally I mean scene to scene remakes) and then passes them off as his own work. He's a lousy writer and the only way his films get any notice is when he re-arranges the scenes so you don't get them in any sort of time line. If you put them in order they'd be lame and stupid. I especially hate it when he re-edits HK movies and then 'introduces' them to American audiences and that becomes the only version available in the US. It's tiresome and ridiculous. He's tiresome and talentless.

WHAT you mean you dont see the classic artistic view he creates i mean Kill Bill was a new movie with an old school kung fu kinda thing, then theres Pulp Fiction which was a masterpiece than he always has a line that is very hidden but very corny in every movie

I'm sorry, but I beg to differ. I absolutely love Tarantino and his quirky twisted sense of humor, and wouldn't miss one of his films for a second. In fact, I own all of them.

how can you say reservoir dogs, pulp fiction, or either of the kill bill's were artsy?sure they had their moments, but thats the beauty of his works. In all, they were all around fun as hell to watch...
Did you know in France, a quarter pounder with cheese ain't a quarter pounder with cheese? No, it's called a Royale a Fromage.

I like all his movies they seem to be a tad more complex than some of the other silly trash that is out . Just a question of personal taste I think.

Pulp Fiction should have won best picture instead of a more stupid movie "Forrest Gump".
There are worse directors out there.
