My grandmother who raised me. She gave me my unique perspective on life and other people, she gave me my love of words, she taught me to be a calm and compassionate person, a fair and loving mother, she taught me fun in the smallest ways, and that privilege comes with responsibility. She raised me as a girl in the sixties who grew up to believe she could be anything she wanted to be, that there were no limits, that confidence and optimism carry you far. She taught me that you often have to make your own entertainment, and that being alone was not the end of the world.

Yep, of all the people who have impacted my life, my grandmother is definitely the one who had the largest influence on who I am today.

Oddly enough, It would have to be my recent crush. When I met him, everything changed, and I just kinda knew that I had to change some things before I found out if he liked me too or not.
