Yes, the average person may be to fragile for space travel, and may not posses the mental psyche to travel in space, although this is true for many careers today as well.

Radiation shielding, Gravity through rotational forces, and basic life support will be the largest obstacles.

no, YOU are too fragile. The key will be to engineer a pilot bred to thrive in those conditions. The "ship" would have to be more of a habitat if its own, with a population large enough to have its own culture as well as producing the food, purifying the air and water, etc. Shielding from the radiation, and working with the gravity could all be worked out.

We could do it, but it would require such a huge ship and so much money that it won't happen any time soon. We'd need to completely protect ourselves from the radiation, have "gravity" from spinning, etc...

So, in a sense, you are correct.

Not if you stick them in a deep freeze.

They don't freeze well, and battle to thaw, but people are working on solving that.

not really we would adapt. our bodies over time would become accustomed to it and we would evolve and become able to survive it. the wonders of the human body!
