I'm considering options for installing a vinyl chain link fence. Has anyone done this themselves? What would the challenges be? What are the pitfalls to watch out for and how hard is this really to do? I'm thinking the worst part is digging holes and pouring concrete and setting the posts in correctly. Any tips on where to find instructions? Do you think it would be close to the same cost to get a contractor to do the whole job or not really?

you do not say whether you are in the city or rural. here in rural arkansas you see the vinyl post fences which really do look nice but i would wonder if you were really needing the fence to be secure if they would hold up after a few years and for the money you will be investing- there is nothing sadder than having to redo because they didn't hold up. if i knew what your needs were i could give you better advice- good luck
