The fish that I had in my tropical fish tank did, but someone told me that they also do it to regulate the air in their swim bladders. I don't know if it would be termed as a proper fart though.

I have not saw bubbles rising from my fish tank, but I did not pay that much attention either. I am going to have to say no.

They most certainly do. I used to keep tropical fish, and watching them one day, there were bubbles rising from the underside of one of them....

They inflate and deflate their swim bladder,which releases a stream of air bubbles from the anal area,which is known to make farting noises,so call it what you will.You could call it a fart I suppose!!
