They can happen for any reason. Generally once you hit the three month mark your change of miscarriage drops by more than half.

Stress, your bodies immune system rejecting the baby, sickness, sickness in the baby, poor development of the baby or placenta, weight loss, too much weight gain too fast (slapping a quick 20-30 pounds in a couple months), trama all these kinds of things can put you at risk for miscarriage.

Your best bet is to carry on as you did in regular life before you were pregnant, as far as work and staying active. Avoid high physical stress, eat well, rest well, and drink lots and lots of water.

You'll be fine.

there is no popular cause for miscarriage, it stems from manything, 1 in 4 pregnancies terminate themselves before we even know we are pregnant, its the bodies way of getting rid of something imperfect, ie. malformations, the easiest way to prevent these is eatting right and taking care of ur body before u get pregnant, make sur eu take ur prenatal vitamins beofre during and for a year after pregnancy , get plenty of rest and exercise while pregnant . i am a nurse btw . dont stress the pregnancy, relax and enjoy this time, it goes by really fast :) have a great day !

No one really knows that! I have asked the doctor that 1000's of times every body is diffrent. I get scared as well because I have had one then as well I have had a still born at 9 months preg. They was both unexplained. They told me to RELAX this time!

there is nothing you can do to cause or prevent miscarriage. Alot of the time there is an abnormality with the fetus and the body aborts it naturally...Sort of natural selection survival of the fittest..

Most are involuntary in that your body just couldn't sustain it. There's no way to prevent that. Just use common sense.
