These people are using you - they have become accustomed to being nice to you to get there way - as soon as you stop - you are no longer important to them and are not serving the purpose for which they have kept you - you sound like a nice guy...too nice - and that is what people are taking advantage of - these people are not worth it - anyone who was really worth it such as genuine friends and people who like you for you would never burden you unless they absolutely needed to - and would not be judgemental of you or treat you any differently if you did not - drop these so called 'people'.

u need real friends..them ppl u call friends are playing on ur intelligence n ur money.i hope that u wake up n see what they are doing.but if u cant do the favor that u said u was gonna do then tell them u cant do it.if thats why they get mad cause u said no then oh well they will be all right.if they cant accept u as who u are then they need to leave u alone

Because they think you owe them if they did one for you or you are a friend and you SHOULD do this thing for them, you are obligated! Also they just want their own way and want to control or manipulate you in some fashion. But in all reality you don't have to do a thing for anyone just because they did something for you. You return the favor out of friendship if you want.

just be careful from now on not to overdo ur favours on anyone...

I agree with the first answerer. They ARE using you! Get rid of the users, and get someone who is a friend just because they are a true friend! You dont need them in your life!

Do you condition people to expect favors from you by offering or volunteering to do things for them and then when they've grown to expect it from you, you stop?
