No. It was part written by David McCabe the leas singer and has nothing to do with that Stevie winwood " VAAAAALLLLLLLAAAARRRIIIIIEEEEEE " screeching sound that we had to endure in the 80's.

Definitely an original Zuton song that only shares a title with Winwood`s "Valerie" ,I`m surprised no-one claimed it was a cover of "Valarie" by The Monkees LOL

I think they wrote it about a cleaning lady that they met whilst on tour in the states......so no i don't think so. Cracking band tho.
