my life is dull. what can i do with little money to make it fun?

I think people who are bored are boring. I'm rarely bored,there's always something to do..don't you have any hobbies? What do you wish for doing when you're at work? What you could do is a boring chore that you've put off for ages and when it's done,you'll feel better..and will feel that you've achieved something.

Ok lets get serious ~ I don't know how much is little when you refer to the amount of money you have ~ never mind ~ take a £1 or if possible a couple more, either go on the eBay and look at the numbers of items you can buy for that amount, or if you have one, go to a local market just before they are closing up [or on a very cold wet day??] and do the same thing.

Then put a mark up on the items,say, 10 percent, and sell through the eBay and local car boot sale ~ save the money you made, and use the same amount again ~ do this over a period and you will get enough together to buy better things and make a bigger profit.

Try it ~ you never know, what have you got to lose?

For just a little money you could:

-pretend you are a tourist and go sightseeing in your own town

-search out old friends phone numbers and reconnect with
someone that you may have forgotton about

-go to your local library armed with snacks from home and
spend the day looking through magazines or something else
that interests you

-do something selfless, like volunteer to serve lunch at a
homeless shelter (you will be amazed how helping others can
make you see yourself in a different light)

-call up some friends and hang out at the beach (or grass by a
lake/river) with some homemade lunches and a deck of cards,
or you could also play some 'truth or dare' (it always makes
your day fun...

Ask some friends over and eat peanuts while watching some movie or just plain talking till the wee hours of the morning. You can ask them to contribute for drinks or cocktails. It will still be dull if you continue to be in that state of mind. Just make the most of what you have and take what life has to offer. Good Luck!

Do you get your local paper? If not, look it up online. The newspaper is an excellent source of free and low cost entertainment. Also, there are often groups listed that are meeting, maybe you could find a group with common interests. Park districts also usually have low cost activities so see if you can get a park district booklet. Is there a frisby golf field in your area? That's lots of fun and usually free.

Go to the park every day for 1 hour and learn to juggle.Then go to the library,take out a book on balloon sculptures,and learn to make balloon animals in the park.Then go to the library,take out a book on face-painting,learn how to do it with the friends you've made at the parkand...
