i belive that it is ok b4 12 weeks inside the belly because can u remeber anything from that long ago and ur unwanted so could a baby grow up in a bad home or orphanige and really have a good life. I know some people have but not everyone does

why would my parents abort me they were like mid 30's usually younger people have it and anyway do you think id care i wouldnt be here to complain anyway

mricon75 is right and i dont care what illionois does that doesnt mean theyre right and if life isnt fair then shouldnt we do all we can to make it more fair to us and after 12 weeks abortions become dangerous for the mom

abortion should be 100 percent allowed if it is because of rape or incest, or the mothers life is in danger, or if there is something proven wrong with the baby and it won't live anyways.

i think it should be up to debate and vote for the ones who want to do it because of accidental pregnancy or they just changed their minds, along with at what stage the baby is in, i don't know enough about trimesters to share my thoughts on it, but shouldn't be allowed if the baby is developed enough where it would stand a reasonable chance of living outside the mother.

and as a note, its funny all this debate against abortion, but yet the death penalty is still in place, oh yea, that whole war thing.

also, what if i was aborted? then i wouldn't know either which way if i was or not, so kind of a pointless argument.

If i was raped, I would have an abortion, but I wouldn't if I just got pregnant accidentally. However, that doesn't mean that I think abortion should be outlawed! I truly believe that it would cause more problems to outlaw abortion, then to keep it around. Yes, I believe that life starts at conception, but I would certainly rather someone abort a pregnancy at ten or twelve weeks, then to have a full term pregnancy, give birth and then dump this alive little baby off in a dumpster or in the middle of the woods.
As for rape, I feel that if a women wasn't consenting to sex and she becomes pregnant, then yes, for her sake, an abortion might be best. I know that it's not the unborn baby's fault, but I also can't help but feel for the woman who has been sexually violated and didn't choose to get pregnant in the first place.
I have had friends and family members that have had abortions. The only one I cut out of my life for it was my best-friend that used abortion as a form of birth control. She could have gotten her tubes tide and it would have one, saved her a lot of money! Two, stop putting the rest of us in the position to see her through this each time she did it. ( Last I spoke to her, she was up to number 6 ) If that's pushing my views off on someone else, then I'm sorry. But I honestly felt what she was doing was beyond wrong!

Abortion is wrong because all they are doing is killing another human being. If you kill a 1 month old baby is that ok? No it's not because you killed a human being and that is the same thing when you get abortion. Some guy was charged with a DUI and for two murders because he killed a mother and a unborn child and that was in Illinois. I read it in the newspaper and yes that is the same thing as abortion because there are other was to prevent of getting pregnant. If you don't want a child then take the steps of getting pregnant then.

It's up to the people involved in it. But I feel that it should be an option for everyone. If you don't agree with abortion, then don't have one.

And the argument "What if your parents aborted you?" If they would have, then I would not be here writing this post. But it would have been their right to choose that option, and I would still fight for that option to be there.

It is morally and ethically wrong to murder some
one. When the spermatozoa meets the egg we have life. This is what we call conception! Hence abortion is murder. If the mother is to die it is a different story, one I( wouldn't want to deal with.

I am opposed to abortion except in a few cases - life of the mother, rape, incest, severe birth defects, etc. It is not to be used as birth control. People need to be willing to accept the consequences of their actions.
