When my wife and I have sex, she itches fiercely after I climax inside her. At first we thought v.d.but we're clean. found out i'm sterile, though. Can a woman be allergic to another man's sperm? or is it my diet? can caffiene affect a man's sperm? I also wonder if my sterility and her itching are at any way related?

What I guess is your problem is that you may have some sort of bacteria lying around your private parts.

I didn't think that such a thing would be a big deal, but what happens is that us guys aren't very touchy about washing our hands before going to the bathroom.

On on ocassion, I had sex with a girl, and then she didn't want to see me again. I thought it was one of those crazy relationship things, but it turns out that she ended up getting a urinary tract infection. The doctor said that is happens because us guys touch our guy with our hands dirty. That leads to and accumulation of bacteria which can cause irration, inflammation and even vaginal infections in women.

My guess is that that is your problem. The problem can be easily remedied by taking a mid-strength antibiotic for about a week. It'll kill anything that isn't supposed to be in your body.

Besides, if you don't control that, the bacteria can accumulate inside your wife's genitalia and can lead to uncontrollable vaginal infections and in the long run even cervical cancer, so it's no joking matter.

In the future, just be careful. Always use condoms when it's not too safe and area and try no to touch it with your hands dirty. Also, try to not have it touch the walls of urinals of toilets.

I agree with previous answers that your wife might be allergic to your sperm, but I wouldn't jump to that conclusion, I think that is really rare. I would try different things, like having you both shower before sex, her showering after sex, and maybe try a product like ky jelly. Maybe you will find something that will keep the itching to a minimum. If I were her I would also see my ob-gyn. Maybe he/she would have some suggestions beyond condom use.

The only way to get a definitive answer is for your wife to visit her gyno and get a checkup. I had that problem for a few weeks with my fiancee, but it cleared itself up. (We just didn't have sex for a month or so.) Still, I would recommend your wife (and you, really) seeing a doctor to determine the problem.

Good luck.

Your wife should talk to her OBGYN about this.

But, yes, I have read that some women can be allergic to sperm. It should have nothing to do with your fertility -- you shoot blanks, but the ejaculation still has substance. And yes, it could be your diet.

Hate to ask, but has she slept with anyone else and did it happen with him too? I'd go for the allergy testing.
