You're right. I bet few people haven't had irresponsable sex once in their life...

There are no stupid questions...only stupid people.
If it's a legitimate question, I am always tactful. It just irritates me to no end to see the same questions over and over and over. 1) If you're a mature, responsible person (woman or man) you should KNOW how your body works. How many women have never heard of the term "ovulation"? Probably very few. How many women (girls, rather) goofed off in sex-ed and didn't pay attention? Probably many. One of the big reasons we have so many unplanned pregnancies and abortions today. 2) When you start to type your question, a list of similar questions pops up. If you notice that the questions that show up are very similar to yours, read them first! If you don't find the answer you're seeking, go ahead and post yours, but expect some flack from people (such as myself) who are sick of answering the same questions that have been asked already 100 times by a bunch of uneducated, uninformed people who SHOULD know how their bodies work. Who SHOULD know how babies are made. Who SHOULD know that there is such a thing is birth control. Who SHOULD know that yes, the liquid that comes out of a man's penis before he ejaculates DOES contain a small amount of semen. Who SHOULD know that not all women ovulate on day 14 of their 28 day cycle, because 28 days is only an average, so YES, it IS possible to get pregnant a week before or after your period starts. Who SHOULD know that we, the other Yahoo! users, are not psychic, and that when they describe a bunch of very vague, unconnected symptoms, there's absolutely no way in hell to know if they're pregnant...yes, you could be pregnant, or it could be that you're getting a very nasty cold, so it's thrown your cycle off by a few days. The only way to be sure is to take a pregnancy test, whether it be at home or at their doctor's office.

When a person knows he or she should be using protection or not having sex to avoid pregnancy then I do not have any compassion for that person whatsoever especially a teenager. I do not consider it unplanned...two people engaging in sex not using any form of birth control know the risk factors at hand and we as society should not be so compassionate about it.
It is like you see a pothole in the road and know not to run thru it because you can have an accident or blow out a tire...but you do it anyway knowing the risk factors.
If people know what can happen when having unprotected sex then they should not expect for people to be sorry for them or have sympathy for them.

But there is a quick and easy remedy for an unplanned pregnancy. And this is a public Q&A forum, if that person cannot take what may seem to be harsh and honest answers then maybe this is not the place for them.

It depends on what the question is. I have seen many horrible questions on here about unplanned pregnancies where the girl got and abortion because she didnt like the babies father and wanted to be impregnanted by another man and wanted to know how long she had to wait.
Another thing too, you cant control who answers questions, and you cant control peoples opinions, its part of living in society. People who post questions on public forums get answers from any and all of the viewing public.
What you can control is how you personally react to those answers.

I totally agree with you. People would not be asking questions on here if they knew they would get responsess like that. An unplanned pregnancy can be stressfull enough on its own without uncompassionate peple mapping out their lives. I know I would not want people predicting my future failure or teling me to get an abortion like its nothing. If young mothers had more support from society, maybe there would not be a self fullfillling prophecy of failure. You can only be told something so many times before you start to believe it yourself.

Very true! How many of you could have been in the same situation and just got very lucky? They are asking for advice and help. They are not asking to be chastised and called stupid. Let's help them so they don't have to feel so alone at such a difficult and vulnerable time in their lives. We have all made mistakes some little, some big. That's how you learn about life. Let those of you who are without sin cast the first stone!

I completely agree with you. I have posted many questions and have gotten many, many brutel, harsh comments. You only seeking constructive advice, not anything to bring you down or make you worried. I hope people on here will learn to be more considerate...

I agree some people don't look at things like others. Some have the biggiest heart in the world and others do well....they are them. I do not judge others because I do not want judge! Judge he who does not judge himself.
