No, I love America. I love the ideals of the Declaration of Independence where it states that all men are endowed with the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I cherish the Constitutional notions of checks and balances. I worship the freedoms laid out in the Bill of Rights. I take seriously the welcoming call of the Statue of Liberty to give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

I love my country very much, even if I find all too many of my fellow countrymen to be beyond hope.

In response to part 2: No, because I love America.

I love America. I have never been but really want to go to California, Hawaii, Connecticut and.. everywhere! In a few years I will be applying to go work for camp America, I want to get uni out the way first though.

As for Mr Bush, I don't really have an opinion. The same goes for Mr Blaire. I would take time to research them, but honestly, I just can't be bothered. I will research when time comes to vote. I will see who I think will change stuff for the best.. until then though...

Maybe you should ask what people like about america. Those who hate it would simply not anwser the question you have posted. But i don't think you want everyone to love america as america will be overwhelmed with immigrants legal and illegal,
so now and then america has to wage some wars make some noise in the international community to balance the adornation that she had received through entertainment, fashion and technology

I am sad how the States has been run while Bush has been president. I have a lot of American friends and think they are wonderful.
Would I ever live in the States? No way.
I love Canada though. Best place in the world IMO.

America is my home. Sure, we have our fair share of problems, we are not perfect. And yes, at times we can be arrogant and no, I don't believe that America is the greatest country on the planet. We're a country filled with people, that agree and disagree and more humanely make mistakes. We have the abiltity to say what we want without fear of reprisal. We can argue, and we can think. We are Americans.

I've traveled extensively and I can tell you first hand: we have it soooooooooooooo good! Good bless America! There is no other country in the world that even holds a candle to the US. Despite it's many faults. It's still the only country on earth where you have this kind of freedom and opportunity.

I'm from the USA and I like living here, I love this country but I'm not always proud in the things we have done or are doing. We make mistakes just like everyone else does. We have been very lucky geographically and in our situation but we should not presume to be the experts on how to live life in other places.

I like the freedom aspect of US, where people are just about free to do as they please. That's why lot of people migrate to US

I do dislike the bullying aspect, with US interfering with other countries without first dealing with issues within US. For instance, spending billions destroying/rebuilding Iraq and not spending nearly as much taking care of Katrina victims and rebuilding New Orleans.
