How serious is this "relationship" of which you are speaking? Does the success of this relationship depend upon how his child behaves? If so, have you tried speaking with your partner about this behavior and how it bothers you? Communication is the key. If you can't speak to him about the things that bother you, there really is no relationship. Try talking to him.

I would need a few more details about what you mean by "everything", but the best way I can think to have a good relationship with him is to keep things separate. By this I mean, have your time with him and never mind what's going on with his child. If you try to interfere, he will probably end up resenting you for it. Let him deal with the consequences of an unruly child and only say something if he asks for your opinion. People see their children through rose colored glasses and don't like to have others say anything negative about them. Even if you may have a valid point. Just remember that you have no responsibility to the child and enjoy your time with your man. Good luck...

I realized nothing. I had to recently let my bf of 1 1/2 go because I couldn't stand his 13 yaer old daughter, they just left my hose this past saturday.
