I am thinking of applying for the Fall 2007 Mid-Career MPA offered by Harvard University's John F Kennedy School of Government. They have another programme known as the Mason Fellow Programme. I wonder if anyone could share with me how difficult it is to get into either one of these programmes? Is good GMAT score a must to be successful in the application? Thank you!

A friend of mine just got into the Kennedy School. He is 43 -- so they do take people in mid-career.

I don't know if they want GMAT or GRE -- but you can bet that you need a good score to get into any graduate program at Harvard.

Most professional schools have a page on their web sites showing a profile of their students. US News may be another place to look for details on typical backgrounds of students.

if you have to ask how difficult it is to get in, then the chance is you are not qualified to get in. You lack the confidence. And Harvard looks for people who are confident that they can made it.
