science????

Question

science is so interesting and crap but i can never listen to it in class. this has been happening since the 4th grade. can ya tell me ya from stop day dreaming and listen to the lesson so i won't fail my next class when i go back to school? never. can. listen. to. science. help. me. please.

how about you do your own research outside of class. there's a lot of stuff out there and more fields developing all the time

It is probably not you. I am a science teacher and what I tell my students is when we are discussing a certain topic. Find out more about it not just in your text, but explore. The fact is even if you are interested in what is being discussed that does not mean it is going to keep you awake. You have to engage yourself it sounds like, if your teacher doesn't do it for you... remember you must do it for yourself. Maybe you could also try other techniques that work in other courses that you take.

More than likely it is not you. It appears that whoever is teaching sience where you go to school is not making the lessons exciting enough to grab your attention.

What I did was find things in science that I wanted to learn about and explored that. It made the class a little more interesting.

Maybe you should try to convince your teacher to reserve one day a week, or one day each two weeks. In this day he/she can explain you exciting or controversial scientific subjects with the less maths in it. The subjects may even be choosen by the students....

well you know that science is not for you .... you should tell this to your teachers and to your parents.... and if you have the option then drop the subject and take sumthing you like....
