It simply means propotional or propotionally & thats in mathematical language. Try to substitute pro rata with the meaning I've given you & it will still make sense.

Latin term meaning proportionally; for a proportion. Where several debtors are each liable for the whole debt, they are said to be liable "in solidum" but where each is liable for his own share or proportion only, they are said to be bound "pro rata". An example of both phrases may be found in the liabilty of partners; each is liable "in solidum" for the debts of the partnership in relation to creditors, but each is liable only "pro rata" in relation to between themselves.

This means "in proportion to." For example, a dividend is a pro rata payment because the amount of dividend each shareholder receives is in proportion to the number of shares he or she owns.

This means the payout is arrived at depending on the hours you have worked. If you have worked a min hours - payout = min hours * per hour cost, else, payout = hours worked *per hour cost.

It Basically means - Rate as per consumption

basically it means what you would earn if you worked full time.

so if it says 12000 a year, that would mean if you worked full time (usually 37 hours) a week that is what you would earn.

Hope that helps
