Hi, Dubrovnik is magical. It is one of my favorite cities in Europe. There are dozens of places to choose from that are cheap (as in less than 25 dollars a night). Croatia is still a very economical place to go and Dubbrovnik is the jewel of Crooatia. The tiny cobblestone streets curving and twing their way through ancient buildings and communities of villas clinging to the side of cliffs over looking the med. Be prepared to fall in love with its charm.
Okay, now as I said, there are alot of places. There are a couple places with a great view over the sea and central. But to see a list of them all go to Twizi! (they list places that cost less than 25 dollars) That link is below. I personnaly reccommend the Dubrovnik Lux Apartments which actually are not hostels, and cost you 30 bucks or so a night,. It is right in old town and really good place. If that is to much money there are about 12 hostels to choose from There is a good hostel called Backpackers club, it is the cheapest hostel, very fun and very safe, but about five minutes away from old town.

Your vacation sounds large having visited those places the quantity of days are about correct except for Berlin I wouldt provide it 2 per chance 3 days. Then on the Croatia area coming from Ljubljana there's a once daily prepare service to Pula .undergo in options that a pass to Slovenia is solid for Croatia besides even as it includes trains.Spend some days in Istrian Peninsula of Croatia visit Pula,Rovinj & Porec .Take ferry to Dubrovnik which will properly be seen in an total day.those places take Euro for funds so do not fill up on Hungarian Forint or Polish Zloty. My guess will be Prague to be the spotlight of your vacation yet assume huge crowds better expenditures for hostels or motels in maximum of those places.you could connect the global Hospitality club besides that is a significant couchsurfin web site yet they verify you out beforehand turning out to be a member which isn't undesirable yet it will take about 7-10 days for profile to be printed.
