We were in an on-off relationship for 3 yrs. Last Feb. we had a big fight n he called me names, he said he never loved me n all he wanted was s*x, n that he was not interested anymore coz i don have a nice body, he also sold a very precious thing of mine that he had borrowed from me n i was really furious. now he called back sayin that he was really sorry for being an a**hole n that he regrets saying n doing that n that he wants me to forgive him, i really love him n i know he does but will i ever be able to forget the abuse? will i ever be able to trust him back? he's askin for a second chance but i'm afraid i'll be hurt again. Do i give him a 2nd chance? he cheated on me last yr n i forgave him, i also know that he doesnt feel secure in this relationship bcoz he proposed to me n i refused bcoz he's of a different relegion n he doesn't have a job. He's now saying that he can't live without me n that he needs me in his life. I'm really confused coz i know i love him. am 26 he's 27

well, very confusing question.....i guess u r being too emotional about him. tell him u need time....dont rush things. he ditched u once so let him not call the shots this time. forgiving is divine and there is a great beauty in forgiveness, but forgive only the deserving. try to understand his intentions of returning, i would also recommend tat u try and find out the relationships tat he'd been having in the past 1 yr (from the time u broke up). u can get a lot of info from this. and finally keep ur eyes OPEN. good luck!

Please read what you just wrote and pretend that someone else wrote it, and you want to give them advice. What would you tell them.
From what you've said, this guy is a LOSER. He's called you names, cheated on you, and stolen from you. He also doesn't work, insulted your appearance, and said you were only good for sex.
Why would you want to give him a second chance? Do you like being treated badly?
Tell the guy to go away. You've got better things to do.

Only you can decide if he deserves it. I gave to my husband 3 second chances :) And every time he didn't deserve it. But I did. I loved him and this was my only chance to be with him. If you love, you should forgive.
