I have A- rh factor, so when I was pregnant I had to get a shot of Rogam in my 7th month and when the baby was born I had to get another shot. The shot is to protect you baby now and to protect you next baby from your own blood. My husband never had to be tested so it has nothing to do with him. No big deal......

NO. the purely situation that ought to arise has to do with no matter in case your blood is unfavorable or helpful. The letter (O, A, B, AB) would not remember. If the mum is unfavorable and the daddy is helpful then the mum's body ought to imagine the baby is "overseas" and ought to reject it. besides the undeniable fact that there are injections that ought to correctly accept to the mum to stop this happening (and it would not take position each and every of the time besides). that's the reason the surgeon will do a ordinary blood try once you first locate out you're pregnant; in case your blood form is unfavorable they're going to immediately provide you 2 of those injections in the course of the being pregnant (frequently at weeks 28 and 36; or in case you get any bleeding).

No. My parents have the same blood type. I'm fine, and so are my five siblings!
Positive and negative Rh factors can be a problem. Look those up-it can be complex.

Nope, you're thinking about the Rh factor..
My mother was O-.. if you have a -Rh, then your baby could have problems IF you don't get a special shot while you're pregnant. If the baby has +Rh and you have a -Rh, your blood will see the baby as a "disease" and try to kill it.

No. My ex husband and I are both A+ and had two healthy kids together. What is a concern is if one of you is + and one of you is - which can lead to RH factor problems.

NO. You're probably thinking of the Rh factor, not blood type.
