Sadly there are mothers out there that don't live up to that description. All mothers should be as you vision them. That would make the world a much better place, but this is reality and unfortunately your statement doesn't hold true for all.

Romans had 2 types of Mothers, or women, the Matrona (the good respectable motherly figures) and the Maretrix (the whore, selfish, horrible mother figures) STILL TRUE TODAY!
Just as there are good parents, so are their abusive, neglectful, hateful, sadistic parents... Ever read "Child called It"? I suspect youd rethink the whole mother idea.
