I have had an ectopic pregnancy. Urine pregnancy tests can show negative when having an ectopic because the hormone levels don't rise as they should.

To be honest with you, if it was an ectopic pregnancy, you would be in a great deal of pain right now and may have collapsed. I say this because the red bleeding would signify a rupture, and a danger to your life. Some ectopics have been known to dissolve themselves back into the body naturally but most likely you'd need a shot of methotrexate or surgery, but like I say, a bleed would signify a rupture, so you would need surgery for that, and quick.

I would say it sounds like you have miscarried. If this IS the case, then it would be advisable to see a doctor as you may need a d+c. It could be that your period just decided to mess you about and them come with a vengence. You know your own body, and my advice would always be if you don't feel right, see a doctor.

Take care, let me know how you get on, I will be thinking about you xxx

If you have an eptopic pregnancy you can lossthey naturally. But the main point is the negative test result. If the bleeding started with in 48 hours of that then you are just having an heavier and more painfully bleed than normal. If you are still concered go to your doctors.
I have had 16 miscarriages the most resent end onoly 3 days ago. So I have alot of experience with miscarriages. Thankfully I have had a 20 month gap between a birth and this miscarriage other wise it would be sterilisation for me. Sterilisation being under doctors orders.

If the pregnancy tests were negative, then you probably weren't pregnant...and that would include an ectopic pregnancy. The changes that would cause the symptoms you're worried about would have come from the same hormones that are picked up in a pregnancy test.

BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN ALL'S WELL. If you are having an unusual discharge and you're having pain in your side, then you might be dealing with a sexually transmitted disease, ovarian cysts or any number of other really unpleasant things. You need to make an appointment with a gynecologist today so that you can see him or her within the next few days. Our reproductive health depends on our ability to react to changes when they happen so that we don't damage our ovaries, fallopian tubes and uterus with things that could have been treated when they were simple.

The most common symptoms of a miscarriage are bleeding and cramping. Bleeding alone is not necessarily a sign of impending miscarriage, and may be the result of a small area of bleeding behind the placenta. Indeed, between 20-25% of women who go on to have a healthy baby will have some bleeding in the first trimester In some cases a miscarriage will proceed spontaneously, resulting in the expulsion of all pregnancy tissue from the uterus. Often, though, the uterus is unable to expel all the tissue and the amount of bleeding and cramping can increase significantly. In these cases, a dilation and curretage is necessary.

Patients with an ectopic pregnancy typically have:

Lower back, abdominal, or pelvic pain.
There may be cramping or even tenderness on one side of the pelvis.
The pain is of recent onset, and often getting worse.
Vaginal bleeding may be present.
Low serum hematocrit (due to loss of blood)
Elevated serum human chorionic gonadotropin (due to pregnancy)
Ectopic pregnancy is noted that it can mimic symptoms of other diseases such as appendicitis, other gastrointestinal disorder, problems of the urinary system, as well as pelvic inflammatory disease and other gynecologic problems.

If left untreated, the affected area will likely burst, causing gynecologic hemorrhage and endangering the life of the woman

epiotic pregnancies require surgery. You should go to your doctor to make sure you are ok, it is nothing to fool around with cause it can kill you. I don't want to scare you, but it can. You probably had a misscarriage though and didn't realize it. At any time did you see a big lump of what looked like tissue after you wiped, or in the toilet? Alot of women misscarry and don't realize what happened cause they don't know what to look for. You could have flushed your fetus down the toilet and not even realized it. I done this once myself. It is sad, and if you are having any more pain in your left or right side right now, then get to the emergency room and find out what is going on.

before I found out that I was pregnant I had my period and it was really heavy bleeding. The next month I didn't have a period and that is when I found out I was 2 months pregnant. Take it easy, you could still be pregnant. Cramping is normal, but you need to be careful.

I would definitely check with your doctor. The lateness of your period could be due to stress and a number of other factors. You could've been pregnant and miscarried - a lot of women do and never know. The tests probably said negative because if you were pregnant it wasn't a viable pregnancy. There are so many factors in your case that you never know for sure until you go to the doctor. I say if the pain and bleeding continues that you should definitely call. You need medical help if its an ectopic pregnancy as your fallopian tube will burst and surgery is requred. Please go and see a doctor especially if you are still having pain. Even if its not ectopic you will need a check up in case you were pregnant, if your body hasnt got rid of everything you may end up with an infection and become infertile. Your doctor will probably send you for a scan and they will be able to tel from that if you were pregnant, i am truly sorry for your loss. Make an appointment so at least you will know for sure, take care xx

There's a possibility that it is a miscarriage. It could even be an ectopic pregnancy. But it could be an ovarian cyst that ruptured. Any of these can cause the pain in your side. Even appendicitis. You should go to your doctor to get checked out. If it was a miscarriage or ectopic you could bleed uncontrollably and surgery is the only way to stop the bleeding. Please go get medical help TODAY! Hope this helps.

Anything is possible with what you are saying...every person is different..It could be anything from a cyst, to an ectopic...but either way both can be dangerous if not treated, as well as a miscarriage...(However I dont think anyone is qualified to help you online, and most doctors CANT give a diagnosis without seeing you) I highly suggest going to your doctor as soon as possible.

I cant give you a whole lot of medical advice, but i will say you should go to the doctor. if you do not have one you can go to your county health department, after some paper work you can see a doctor at a ver reasonable price. he can give you every awnser. if it was an ectopic pregnancy..yes you have to go to the doc. you could get a serious infection.
