Good question. I suppose there is a good possibility. As for me, I love the period of time when I grew up...Elvis was on the scene, The Everly Brothers, folk groups were big, and then of course, THE BEATLES conquered the universe!!! All of a sudden British groups dominated the scene. ALL of these groups that I have mentioned, and MANY others, are a part of my fabric, so to speak. I love it. I guess it stands to reason that kids of today may look back on "rap" nostagically, as bizarre as that sounds. I honestly think that many kids, and certainly many on this site, realize the greatness of the past era in music. Some have stated to me that they would have loved to have heard it all. Some even told me that they were born in the wrong generation. Whatever the kids of today look back upon, I hope it is something that brings them pleasure and reminds them of THEIR "good old days." As for me?....well... I just LOVE my good old days. Remember: "These will be the good old days, 20 years from now." Have a good day, friend.

I thought about that when I first heard rap and tried to picture these kids at 70 years old playing it for their grandkids.
