Learn to play golf young. It has the longest shelf life out of any other sport. If you don't make it as a professional golfer, you'll be good enough to impress the bosses at your other job. And it is sport that you'll least likely to get hurt in if you play for a long time.
How many 40 year olds are playing basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey, football or lacross? Now how many 40 year old professional golfers out there getting millions? Yeah learn to play golf young, and you can thank me in a few years.

On the outside chance your school offers Rugby, then Rugby. Great game and lots of opportunity for travel. Otherwise football in the fall and baseball in the spring.

That depends on what sports you like, what you're good at, and what you are looking for. As much as I like football, it is prone to injuries. Soccer is good, so's basketball, so's baseball, also track, wrestling, swimming.

I will say for the amount of money that you can get and the lack of getting hurt real bad I would try baseball.
