she is only 4 and it is really painful for her, obviously she is going to see the doc, but are there any reasons she keeps getting this, can it be prevented ?and is there anything i can give her(natural remedy?)

Could be many reason. Has she taken antibiotics alot recently? Often diet sugary foods yeast( thrush) thrive and grow in a sugary enviorment. Cut way back on foods loaded with sugar.Natural things that help are garlic capsules and the best natural supplement would be Acidolpilus capsules which really help get the type that says to keep refridgerated as this contains live acidolpilus and works the best. Also if she would eat yogurt that says it contains acidolpilus .
And if she hasn't gone to the doctors then she should. He will give her liquid Nystatin which she swishes in her mouth to clear it up taste ok sweet tasting so she shouldn't mind it at all

Is she on a steroidal inhaler for breathing/Asama/bad cough? If she is ..the ibuterol can cause thrush....She will need to rinse her mouth after using such meds...Just a thought.... Good luck!
