Why do the other races look down on whites? Hey buddy, if you were me (caucasian) and worked @ a store that catered primarily to the health and beauty supply needs of another race your question might be answered. I get many racist looks everyday from people who don't understand why a little withe girl is working in their balck store. I sometimes have to explain to some customers that I was hired to work here because I have a state license. Sometimes the customers like me the 2nd time they visit and sometimes I know from the way they look at me again that they just don't care for white people. As for me, I like everyone equally and stand firm to the belief that we are all brothers and sisters under the same sky:)

I am white and I never look down on anyone because of the colour of their skin. It's what's inside that is important, there's good and bad in all races after all Hitler was white !

It is because of ignorance! the fact that one race is advanced in inventions, technology, development etc does not make them better human beings than those who are technologically behind. This is where most of this "supremacy syndrome" emanates from. It could have been the other way round. Blacks, whites Asians you name them all are born the same way and die the same - technology and all remain behind!! None of us brought anything in this world - black or white, and shall take nothing with us when we die!! we all die the same way! This is one of the many things that should help the white folk from deluding themselves that they are superior. I pity them. But again its not all white who think like that. We might as well start appreciating other races because they are here to stay till mother earth ceases to exist!!! Good day!!

Why do you catagorize whites into one group?
I am white and don't think of a persons skin color when I see them. I don't look down on other races, the opposite sex, or old or young, etc. We're all the same until someone loses the trust they've earned in my eyes.

most caucasion people don't look down on anyone. Any people of any race that look down on someone because of their color or social status are usually just louder then the respectful people. I'm white, my half-brother is latino. His dad is way cooler then mine. Illegal immigration is something we agree on, but that doesn't make me look down on him for coming from a different background. I will say that his family has had a racist attitude to my mom and myself. They often talk down about us and he's been forced to choose not to deal with them as often, because he doesn't like being forced to choose. I have such a hard time with any sort of racism, especially since my mother is german. I think different colors make the world much more interesting.

Only some do, the ignorant, as many here have pointed out. Don't fall for the separation and hate, divide and rule bs touted by those who have something to gain, of whatever 'race'. Don't judge books by their covers, its only externals. We will only reach common ground by respecting each other as human beings, regardless of externals. The ignorant are taught a history full of lies and spin. Look beyond, look within.

I'm currently trying to shortlist some candidates for a job I've noticed that those applications riddled with spelling mistakes are mainly from non whites. I have found a number who even spell the name of their home town wrong. ( a lot have not even read the job description and don't have the qualifications or experience I asked for). It is easy to lose respect for people.
