Of course you can get pregnant when you have your period. Though the most fertile time is when you are ovulating, that does not mean that that is the only time that you can get pregnant. Also there are women who get their menstrual even when they are pregnant. So my suggestion to you is if you do not want to get pregnant use protection not old wives tales. Since that is apparently too late you should talk to your doctor about the morning after pill (you have 72 hours from the time that you might have conceived). It is not an abortion pill it is used to simulate hormones that your body makes to KEEP YOU FROM GETTING PREGNANT. But your best bet is to use protection from now on you really won't have these concerns for the most part.

If you had sex without a condom, it is always possible to get pregnant. There are times of the month when you are more likely get pregnant but sperm can store itself in your body for days and release itself during the time you are most likely to get pregnant. You are never safe from getting pregnant unless you use a condom, the pill, or other contraceptives.

No lady. The ovum inside your uterus takes about 4 to 5 days to develop for any sperm attacks so that it gets fertilized. Change for pregnancy comes only when u have sex between 5 to 25 days after your periods

yes, if you have a regular 28 day cycle, the days you can get pregnant are around the 14th day.(could be 13,15,16) If your not on a 28 day cycle the days that you should not have sex are the days in the middle, unless you do want to get pregnant.

ANYTIME you have sex, it is possible for you to get pregnant, my dear...your period, your best friend's period, your great Aunt Bessie's....sex at any time at all will run you the risk of pregnancy.
No sex=no pregnancy. Plain and simple.

Depends on how long after your period. Here is a site to track your cycle so you know when you are fertile. It's free

Of course. Technically, you can get pregnant while on your period...although I personally have never heard of it happening to anyone close to me.
