I don't believe there is anyway to answer such a question. This would require a detailed medical exam and history.
What I would suggest is getting a second, and perhaps third opinion on this. Make sure the doctors are thoroughly familiar with your health, medication, and use of herbs before giving advice. Give them time to "think on it".
Apparently this is not an emergency surgery, thus can wait until September. You still have plenty of time to see different physicians, but must get on it quickly before time runs out.

by this u means u have hyperthyroid and u must be taking medicine check out ur T 3 ,T4,TSH -thyroid profile done if it is not controlled and is still high get a total thyroidectomy done which removes the whole thyroid if a part of thyroid is involeved partial throidectomy can be done which is a better option
