it depends entirely on whether these chickens are consistent layers.... some hens only lay every second day.... in which case...
you would get only six eggs max...

Mathematically speaking 1.5 chicken lay 1.5 eggs viz. 1 chicken lays one egg a day and hence 3 chickens would lay 3 chickens a day which makes it 9 eggs in 3 days
Logically however, half chicken cannot lay any eggs (its dead) so that means the one chicken is laying one and half eggs (assuming the half egg is being laid at just midnight and the other half goes on to the first few seconds of the next day) so then 1 chicken would lay 4 eggs (discounting the half egg) in three days and hence 3 chickens would lay a total of 12 eggs in three days

well stressing the point 1/2 chicken dont lay any eggs(indeed they are dead no), we hav the conclution that the chicken lays 1 egg and the other exactly at the mid night . (so a total of 1 1/2). So in one day that chicken lays 1 egg and the other egg half way.
So in 3 days that chicken will lay 4 eggs and the other 1/2 way
4 1/2 eggs.
so considering 3 chickens,
the total eggs are
12 eggs and 3 half eggs
in other words,
13 1/2 eggs
