What can you talk about on the phone to a person who doesn't talk about anything over the phone?

Then talk about things that they have an opinion concerning. If they just really, really don't want to talk on the phone, then you need to respect it. Consider chat and text messaging.

About their interests...My boyfriend is a talker... He yaps and yaps me I'm like ok cause I don't have tons of things to say. But I try to make a big effort. Ask them about their day. Or something ...Something you know about this person.
