for clothes: Walmart, Target, Kohl's (if you have it - good sales) Ross, AJ Wright, TJ Maxx, outlet stores. All have "trendy" clothes if you're willing to look for them, just at a fraction of their regular prices.
For supplies: walmart (#1 choice), target, staples are the best

Here is what i do. I usually try to buy my tops at name brand stores and my bottoms at average stores because no one is going to be looking at where you bottoms come from just your tops.
For tops i like to go to Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, and American Eagle. If your looking for better deals go to Pac Sun or Aeropostle.
For jeans and stuff i like to go to Kohl's mostly. I really like the Angels brand they have. But you could also go to like a JC Penny or even a TJ Maxx or something.

Walmart usually is the cheapest on supplies. But watch your sale ads in sundays papers and go where the sales take you.
