When I Fall in Love
When I fall in love
It will be forever
Or I'll never fall in love
In a restless world
Like this is
Love is ended before it's begun
And too many
Moonlight kisses
Seem to cool in the warmth of the sun
When I give my heart
It will be completely
Or I'll never give my heart
And the moment I can feel that you feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you

My husband and I have a song. It's Kenny Chesney's " You had Me from Hello". The reason behind the song is quite a sweet story actually. I was dating his roommate when we met, and he said when he first saw me he thought I was too pretty for his roommate(his words not mine) and once we got to know each other he said he thought I deserved better than his roommate, who by the way was quite a player. Later on, I started seeing less and less of the roommate and more and more of Tommy, mainly because I was being stood up!! So Tommy and I started hanging out as friends or so I thought. Many months later after we had been dating for a while we heard that song on the radio and he said to me "That's like me and you, I loved you the first moment I laid eyes on you, and the first time I heard you say 'hello' I knew we'd be together forever if I had anything to do with it." Don't worry guys and gals, he's not that sappy all the time, but he has had me from Hello!!

We don't have a particular 'song'. He loves U2 and so for our first dance at our wedding, I picked out the song "When the Stars Go Blue" by the Corrs (he's also from an Irish family) because the Corrs are Irish and Bono of U2 sings duet in that song. We also danced to "Runaway" from the Corrs as our last song of the night. My personal choice would've been "My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw because he's one of my favorite singers or "Just the way you look tonight" by Frank Sinatra. Of course now McGraw just recorded his verson of "When the Stars go Blue"! HA! Go figure!

We've actually got quite a few because we both write songs, so have written songs for and about each other (see http://www.masterofnone.org.uk for sounclips - Midsummer Morning is the one I wrote for my wife).
As for songs by other people "Tara" by Fish is one which always reminds of us when we were first together.

sure I oftentimes associate songs to the places that i've got first heard them like working example: Disturbia with the aid of Rihanna is linked with San Francisco (I first heard Disturbia on a visit to San Francisco). do no longer stop believing is linked with Mexico ( I performed it no stop). I additionally %. particular songs on my Ipod that are purely allowed to be performed whilst i bypass to that place.

We have songs which remind us of holidays, dates, our engagement but we had not found 'THE' song yet like a lot of others couples have. Our engagement song was 'hungry eyes' - Dirty Dancing

When me and my o/h met, it was Phil Collins's Groovy Kinda Love.
When we got married, the first dance was to; Always, by Atlantic Starr, better than the cheesy endless love stuff!!
