As with any relationship (same sex or opposite sex) it has to be a combination of both. The initial attraction may be sexual or it may be something other than that - but a good relationship is going to have a balance of both good love and good sex.

I can tell you that my relationship with my partner is totally NOT based on sex. We have a very intense and very powerful connection to one another. Yes, sex is involved but it is NOT the key ingredient to our relationship. I fell in love with her for many, many reasons. I can not speak for others.

There are examples of both gay and straight couples who do not have a sexual component to their relationship. Termed platonic, these relationships still often involve sharing a house, finances, and their lives with a companion.
A relationship is whatever you and your partner want it to be.

unfortunately there are the group who only care about sex, which makes it harder for people like me who are looking to find a great guy for a relationship and fall in love

having a same sex relationship isn't bad for those people who are open minded.... for those people who are against of same sex... they just think about that gay/lesbian people love sex , sex, sex... thats why most people think that same sex relationship is bad cause its always about sex and not love...

sex may be an attractor, initially, but any relationship requires comfort & compassion (and some passion) to have any longevity.
So my answer? All of 'em!
