CALL YOUR DOCTOR.

And it's a choice until you decide it's a child.

Jetty, she's not asking if she should have an abortion, she's asking if the pills would affect the baby. You should stay out of it until YOU get pregnant, OK, guy?
As for your question, Arshiya--you really need to ask a doctor. If you're concerned about your baby, your doctor needs to know you took these tablets. Perhaps there are tests that could be done. Don't look for this type of advice on here. See an obstetrician.

There is a site called safefetus.com. They have a search feature where you can put in the name of a medication that you've taken or are considering taking and it will tell you the possible side effects to the baby if the medication is in the database (even if it's an OTC med). You can also get in touch with your OB/GYN or midwife and they should be able to tell you what may be going on with the baby due to the med.

Good luck and congratulations!

you got pregnant without your knowledge, what did the stork just drop by with the baby in its beak. ofcourse you should not be taking those tablets or didnt the stork tell you, this is not a dilemma just a sign of your stupidity. wake up you are a mother and being irresponsible what will your child think.

you will have a lot of people telling you to "keep the baby" or "it's not a choice", all those damn pro-life people. that's not what your asking, besides, if you are 3 months prego, you would be in your 2nd trimester and abortion in that stage is illegal now.i have never herd of that particular drug, but you should go to the doctor to double check. read the bottle and make sure it does NOT say " please do not ingest if breastfeeding, pregnant, or may become pregnant" you would be screwed then but go to the doctor or planned parenthood, they really help

no matter what, tell the doctor that youre gonna keep your baby. thats what my mom did, and i couldnt have been more of a miracle baby... when i was in my moms belly, i had two large cysts in my brain, completely covering it. the doctors told my mom that she was gonna have a miscarriage one day, and it never happened, so the pregnancy kept going then they checked again, and told my mom that under my conditions, i would either still die in her stomach, die after only a couple of days, or grow up to be completely retarded; but still, my mom told them she was gonna keep me. i grew up to be in almost all advanced classes in school, and even in dance class since i was ONE YEAR OLD and still LOVE to dance. miracles can happen, so dont let the medicine effects scare you away from loving another child.

I'm not sure but six years ago that happen to me and my daughter came out totally perfect but everyone body is different. But nine times out of ten it won't do anything to the baby because you are still in your early months.

I would call your doctor and ask what they think, they may have no effect on your baby at all but it would be best to get advice from a trained professional.

go immediately to your doctor. tell him what's going on i hope everything goes alright. I'm not familiar with the pills you took so hopefully there won't be any lasting effects but your doctor can tell you for sure. My girls are less than a year apart so i guess congrats are in order. good luck

I would have called the pharmacist prior to writing this question. You don't know who you are talking to on her. Granted there are a lot of smart people on here but there are people who also don't know the difference between Xanax and Xantac.

You will have two children very close of age. That's a challenge. You need to see your doctor though conserning those tablets.
