Hi.
I'm thinking of buying some new boots for the new season. Any suggestions on what ones are the best about at the moment and the best value for money? I was looking at Puma V1 06's, supposedly the lightest ones on the market.
Any ideas?

The new Pumas and Adidas Predators are light and comfy, but if you were to wear them in the league i play in, after no time at all they will end up looking like open toed sandals. Adidas World Cup or Puma Kings i'd say are the best. Mid priced, comfortable and well made, they've been on the market for decades. And they'll last a couple of seasons at least.

Are you looking for good value or style? For a pair of star endorsed Adidas or Nike, you may buy 3 pairs of good value boots.
Since my foot is a relatively wide, I can hardly fit into an Adidas or Nike, or I will get tired very soon... eventually, I found Mizuno offers some good value boots at around $40 which fits my feet very nicely!
Frankly, I won't suggest buying boots online unless you have already try it on.

Well depends on what your looking for, I have last years vapors both the K leather ones and the synthetic ones and I love them besides the fact that they gave me the worst blisters for a bout a week, they do make you faster because of the stud placement you get a better stride. But I also have last years predator pulses and they to are a very nice boot, they are more comfortable and have a better touch, the predator 'elements' do put more spin on the ball.

il b really honest if your lookin to break a metatarsal buy nike but i have a pair of adidas f10s and there ok but their a really tight fit boot but i was recently wearing a pair of umbro boots which i would never have thought of buying b4 but i have 2 say there the most comfortable boots available!!!like it doesnt matter what pair of boots you really buy anyway coz they will get ruined in a few months time so if your lookin 4 a tight fit buy adidas or nike but if your looking for comfort buy some umbros

Thought Nike Mecurial's were the lightest...but that was a few years ago. Don't buy bright coloured ones if you're crap because people will remember you that bit more.
Ive got a pair of R9's from before Ronaldo screwed his knees up, interested?

predators are my favorites. really depends on what fits your foot the best and what style you play. i'd say if you're a midfielder or defender go with with predators or total 90s. if your a forward take the vapors or those pumas your talking about. all the brands have their own fit even though some maybe really close to one another.

F10 if you are a talented player
If you are pretty rubbish then go for adidas or nike. You will stand out less when you blaze your shots wide
