Marcus Williams. I think Balkman will be a defensive specialist at best. Williams has the potential to be a really good PG.

Marcus Williams is definetly better than Balkman. Williams was the best pure point guard in the draft and is a very good floor general. However, Balkman is a harder worker

Joey Harrington or Ben Rothlesburger.
Marcus Williams got screwed but Balkman team South Carolina did beat Michigan in the NIT and they (South Carolina) were NIT champs for two years. NBA is about teams and chemistry. I give Isiah the benefit of the doubt. He pick Damon Stoudamire and Jamal Tinsley in Indiana plus he has a knack for understanding the under 6-2 guard philosophy. My money in the long term is on Balkman but Isiah needs three years to show that.
Good Question and Good Luck

Marcus Williams. He's a true point guard plus he's gonna have a future hall of famer and one of the best point guards of all time teaching him. Balkman's just gonna go down as another one of Isaiah Thomas' many mistakes.

Williams, I've seen Balkman play, and he's not as good as the Knicks think. He was mid to late second round talent at best.
