i have my theories that they were...i mean, ronaldinho was practically invisible during that match...he barely touched the ball when hes usually all over it....he couldnt get around the french defenders when he usually weaves around opponents like no one ive ever seen...
also, the usual top scorers of brasil just didnt look like they were trying to score so bad.
however, i dont think the entire team was paid off...just some of them...and the others werent told. example = kaka worked his cute little butt off and it seemed that a few others did too. poor guys.

No. It's simply not possible. Not only because the World Cup is a holly thing for Brazil, but hey we're talking about great players who wouldn't put at risk their reputation for some money. Another thing if they wanted money they could win the WC and get a great amount of money, though they don't need them. I think players like Adriano and Ronaldo were out of form during all this football season and Ronaldinho showed some signs of tire and lack of concentration during the last month in the Champions League matches. The defense has never been the best part of the team and above all people's expectation for Brazil were too much. They put even more pressure on players. So it went this way.

During the '98 World Cup, I wanted to believe that they were. They just didn't show up. It's hard to say. They didn't play as a team throughout this ('06) tournament. There were too many "stars" (which apparently Brazilians felt wasn't an issue). In this day and age, money changes a lot. The coach didn't make the proper decisions. Why start a 36 year old (kafu) when you have such promising young talent (Cicinho, Juninho)? It was just a screwed up situation.

I think so. Beside the fact that ronaldinho did not play as much as he should of; there is also the initial line up when has Juninho started a game...never.
One can deduct that in fact something was going on there.
Even what happened to Zidane seemed kind of fishy.
The whole World Cup was arranged for Italy to win.

No way, Brazil was an overrated team. Plus, they really had not played a good team until they played France. Brazil was not going to win the cup in Europe ground, just like in 98.

they wee not bribed, the players are already have much money but some of them haven't got the world cup. i think they were only too tired after heavy club competition before the world cup and to much pressure from public.

i don't think that they were bribed!!!
they were just a tad bit over confident. they needed to concentrate more on their game rather than on winning. i think that they were lazy and they thought that they were invincible.
as for Ronaldinho he had too much sex. he knows that he was not suppose to be active sexually during the games but he did. so that counts for the poor performance.

I don't think so. Even the best teams have bad games, and Brazil can't always win!! I don't know why they blame Ronaldhino so much, they played good, they could've played better, but I think in Africa they'll play muuchh better

Honestly when you have five world cups why would you care anymore! They are highly respected and worldly known I think they have nothing else to prove.
