I get goosebumps and chills randomly even on the hottest of days. I have no other symptoms, I may have chills three times a day or I may not have them at all. This has been occuring for over two months and since I had no other symptoms I just assumed I was okay. But can anyone tell me if this is normal and what would cause it? Thank you.

My brother was like that and then one day BAM he is in the hospital for pnuemonia. Chills is a sign of infection somewhere in your body.

To fight off the infection, the control center begins to raise your temperature by constricting your blood vessels and making you shiver. As you shiver, the increased muscle activity produces heat, and the blood vessels in your skin contract to prevent heat loss.
