is it better to rip in mp3 or other formats and will it download ok using phone tools if in other format thanks

sorry its amotorola v3i very happy in performance but would like to use other download formats if possibile

The supported format for that phone is mp3, so you really do not want to try to convert it into anything else such as wav, etc. And yes, it will load just fine in mp3 using mobile phone tools - simply keep it in mp3 format. ps - if you are trying to upload proprietary music (such as iTunes) and your phone is one of the ones that is NOT iTunes capable (your carrier didn't load iTunes into it) then make sure you are using songs from original cd's (ones not downloaded or songs you have burned onto cd's first then converted to mp3)

go 2 google and type in mobile17, the first thing that pops up.
it is a free system (no download) where u can put pics, ringtones/songs, etc. on your cell. IT WORKS

use bluetooth or SD reader to rip the Mp3's...

& i think the v3i's media player doesn't support other formats... only Mp3
