You should get in touch with a travel agency and try to book a air/hotel package. It's usually cheaper that way than getting a separate booking for each. Keep in mind hotels are pretty much a big portion of your budget already ever since Disneyland opened. When you get there just eat in any of the restaurants in the side streets, you can pretty much tell if it's going to be expensive or not. If you want to shop, just shop at 168 in Divisoria, most of the products there are from China anyway. Hehe!

Hi Ireena. I am a frequent traveler. I've traveled to HK several times both on business and pleasure. I've stayed in five-star hotels and gone through all those package tours too. But last April-May I ventured on a budget HK trip I arranged via the internet. And it was a blast! I was able to get a clean and safe guest-house private room right in front of Nathan Road at Kowloon for only US$11 per day for five days. I considered this trip meatier and more adventurous compared to my past trips (well they were mostly business, just a couple of pleasure). My aunt came with me, it was an impromptu decision for her, something she didn't regret. I arranged all our itineraries right to the MTR rides and new airport train rides to/fro Kowloon and Hk islands. If you really are sure on going on this trip, feel free to email me at elektra.cute@yahoo.com for details and tips. I can send you the itinerary I did. By the way, I was able to get a brand-new high-end laptop there, its price was less twenty thousand pesos than the price of exact same laptop at Rockwell Makati. I got it from its lone distributor in HK. So feel free to email me. If you're only here within manila, we could even meet up so that I could give you extra maps as well.

call this - 719-3752 or 719-0558. They can arrange your Hong Kong Tour and if you're really in a super tight budget, you can try a hostel type of accommodation like what they arranged for me.. It was only like P1000/night... The best way to go on vacation is to call an agency here in the Philippines because it will be cheaper than you, booking everything there...

in case you're fairly on a good funds, stay on the universal Chunking Mansion or Mirador Mansion, the two on Nathan street in Tsim Tsa Tsui, around the line from the Hyatt. you may get a shoebox sized room there for as low as one hundred HK money. yet once you have not booked your airline cost ticket yet, attempt reserving a kit at Hong Kong's funds airline, Dragonair. The final time I went there, I booked by them, and the inn/air cost ticket combination(very valuable room on Queens St.) grew to become into greater interior of your budget than in simple terms the airticket everywhere's else, and that i've got been given a loose subway pass thrown in besides! better of success!
